Community Pool Rules

By using your digital key card, you agree to the following pool rules.

  • Hours of operation are from 6 AM to 10 PM daily starting Friday of Memorial Day weekend through Sunday of Labor Day weekend.

  • NO LIFEGUARD WILL BE ON DUTY!

  • The maximum pool depth is 5 feet. All persons using the pool will do so at their own risk. Owners and managers will not be responsible for accidents or injuries and or held harmless for all pool-related incidents and occurrences.

  • Pool gates close and lock automatically and will alarm if propped open.

  • The pool ADA lift is strictly for the use of those with disabilities and the elderly. Please do not leave it submerged in the water after usage and cover it back up when finished being used.

  • Please do not play on the pool lift or allow your children to play on it.

  • The pool lift is solar-powered but if you need a replacement battery, please text LIFT to 208-247-8028.

  • Pool access is strictly limited to homeowners/members in good standing, members of their household, and guests.

  • Access given to non-carded individuals is strictly prohibited.

  • All children under the age of 14 years must always have adult supervision (18 years and above) at the pool.

  • Children between the ages of 14 and 17 are allowed a maximum of two guests per household unless accompanied by an adult (18 years and above).

  • Guests are permitted ONLY when accompanied by a Brookwood HOA homeowner/member in good standing and the homeowner/member assumes all responsibility for their guests. There shall be a maximum of five (5) guests per family. If a homeowner/member gives their key to a non-member for use without the homeowner/member present, their pool privileges will be revoked.

  • The pool is never rented out and there is no private scheduling of the pool area. Events, meetings, or swimming lessons for the profit of an individual or organization are strictly prohibited.

  • Strictly no food or drink in the pool water itself.

  • Food is permitted at the dining tables in the pool area.

  • All beverages are permitted in the pool area.

  • No glass containers of any kind including dishes.

  • No BBQs in the pool area, use the park BBQ outside of the pool fence.

  • No smoking/tobacco, vaping, or pets are allowed in the pool area.

  • All users must shower before entering the pool.

  • No bikes, skateboards, scooters, pool furniture, kayaks, or boats are ever allowed in the pool.

  • If in violation, you will be held accountable for all damages to the pool, including (but not limited to) all financial repairs, personal liability, and permanent revocation of access to the pool for ALL members of the household.

  • NO RUNNING, JUMPING, DIVING, ROUGHHOUSING, or any other disruptive or dangerous activities are permitted at the facility.

  • There is ZERO TOLERANCE for foul, racist, or abusive language or behavior.

  • Audible devices including headphones and small Bluetooth speakers are allowed if the volume is not disruptive to other members.

  • Children in diapers MUST wear reusable swim diapers or plastic pants with elastic legs and waistbands. If your child is the cause of a fecal accident and was not wearing the appropriate swim diaper, you will be held accountable for cleanup costs which are approximately $250.

  • Bathing suits are only allowed in the pool water. No cut-offs or street clothes.

  • Do not use the pool if you are sick or actively experiencing any communicable diseases.

  • Members are responsible for reporting any damage to the facilities to the board or management company. Any damage to the pool, equipment, or fixtures will be paid for by the responsible homeowner.

  • The Brookwood HOA is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • Pool toys, balls, and flotation devices must be used with consideration for others using the pool. Inner tubes and oversized flotation devices are not permitted.

  • All refuse must be placed in appropriate trash containers. Please leave tables and chairs in clean condition.
